The session, titled “Health Plan Spotlight; Data Flow and Reporting Best Practices,” brought together two industry experts to identify common industry problems and potential future issues with ACOs.

Panelists discussed key business strategies for payors and providers, some of the biggest challenges in delivering information and the role of data in a successful medical practice. The experts also addressed gaps in reporting/data streams and the overall payor-provider relationship, with goals to lower costs while providing a higher quality of preventive and overall health care.
